About Virtual Assistant Crosby

Loretta Crosby has enjoyed a diversified and varied business background, including providing social and legal services for the poor and disabled in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia (governmental and non-profit agencies), working as a newspaper journalist covering the health, education, welfare and religion news beat (private enterprise), serving as editor of a national and international news bulletin (international volunteer services), and working as an entrepreneur providing secretarial and bookkeeping services to small businesses in South Carolina (small business owner).

Having lived on three continents, Crosby is a world traveler and is used to intermingling with persons of differing backgrounds and ethnic origins. Since returning to the states to live in 2000 – and after living and serving as a volunteer for a religious organization in Israel (Middle East) and Ghana (West Africa) – Crosby has worked as a Customer Service Representative for a non profit book distribution organization, and most recently as a Social Security Disability claims examiner for the states of Georgia and North Carolina.

Crosby is President and owner of JusLo and Associates, a company which was created in 2003 as a part time business providing online informational services to help people recall health to mind, body and spirit.

The Company has since expanded to offer an array of services, including virtual assistance, website search engine optimization and the promotion of health products through affiliate relationships.

Her administrative, office management and customer service skills were acquired while serving as an Executive Assistant for the Vice President of one of the largest newspapers in South Carolina, as the Secretary Assistant for the Secretary-General of an international religious organization in Haifa, Israel, as staff to the Public Awareness Committee of a statewide Developmental Disabilities Council in the Governor’s Office in South Carolina, and as an Office Manager of a small home-based Diversity Consulting firm in South Carolina.

Crosby holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lander University (Greenwood, South Carolina), and holds several Continuing Education Credits in the areas of writing, news writing, accounting and internet marketing.

Active in organizations recognizing and promoting the unity of mankind, Crosby was recently elected to serve as member and Secretary of her local religious body and also serves on various local committees. She is a published poet, an award winning education journalist and is currently working on a new book compilation, tentatively entitled: Apples for the Pupils: Daily Prayers, Meditations and Holy Writings to Calm the Spirit.
